KHum subu saghar surahi jam paimana mera

ab bhi shaida hai zamane ka zamana tera

क़यामत की कशिश है तेरी डोरेदार आँखों में

बिजलियाँ कौंदती हैं और है बरसात की रात

mujhko taKHir ka shikwah nahin han aur suno

sāz-o-sāmāñ haiñ merī ye be-sar-o-sāmāniyāñ

kucha-e-qatil mein mujhko ghair kar lai hai ye

dil-e-be-tab sanbhal KHauf hai ruswai ka

milkar aankh dil lena hai bayen hath ka kartab
